About This Event

In this 90 minute session, advocates will be able to:

Engage with the content in a way that allows for an q and a, experiential activities, and recognition of the incredible amount of work it takes to be an effective advocate for survivors

Objectives:

  • Define and Identify advocacy within shelter settings;

  • Recognize the power of perspective taking; and

  • Understand the necessity of empathy
